Belleville East A and Normal Community finished with 58 points each to tie for first place followed by O'Fallon 52, Peoria Richwoods 47, Alton 43, Belleville East B 34, Belleville West 32, Quincy 26, Carbondale 23, Troy Triad 12, Extras 20, Highland 19, Centralia 17, Effingham 14, Edwardsville JV 12 and Granite City 8.
"Even though we didn't place well in the tourney on Friday, everyone had at least one win," said EHS Coach Woods. "Our Minor/Hills combo won out the back draw after dropping a very close first round match. The match went to a third set super tie break with a score of 14-12.
"We are looking forward to some better weather and finally our first home match this season."
The Hearts will host Robinson today in a 4:30 p.m. match.
