Teutopolis Captures Second At Metamora Tennis Invitational

METAMORA -- Teutopolis finished second, which is the highest the Wooden Shoes have ever finished in the 14 years they have been attending this tournament, in the Metamora Tennis Invitational held Saturday at The Clubs of River City Racquet Club.

"The team really played superb tennis," said T-town Coach Kaye Kimpling. "Each team member contributed to the successful outcome. The kids played strong,  focused, positive tennis all day and their efforts were rewarded."

Barrington won followed by Teutopolis in second place. Dunlap or Metamora took third while Peoria Notre Dame or Chatham Glenwood was fourth, Rockford Guilford and Champaign Centenial finished tied for seventh.
