(Flushing, NY) -- Caroline Wozniacki is back in the semifinals at the U.S. Open. The 2009 runner-up crushed 13th seed Sara Errani of Italy, 6-0, 6-1, to reach the semis. Wozniacki will meet China's Peng Shuai, who ousted 17-year-old Swiss Belinda Bencic.

The other semifinal matchup will be decided Wednesday as Serena Williams meets Flavia Pennetta and Victoria Azarenka faces Ekaterina Makarova.

On the men's side of the draw, the quarterfinals are now set. Second seed Roger Federer cruised past Spain's Roberto Bautista Agut and will face France's Gael Monfils next. The other side of the bracket will see Marin Cilic go up against Tomas Berdych.

The quarters get underway Wednesday when top seed Novak Djokovic faces Great Britain's Andy Murray and Stan Wawrinka meets Japan's Kei Nishikori.
