Wooden Shoes Fifth At Tennis Invitational

Teutopolis High School captured fifth place at the Metamora Red and White Tennis Invitational Tournament Saturday held at The Clubs at River City, Peoria.

The Shoes lost to Metamora 5-0 in the opening match. T-town then captured a 4-1 win over Rockford Guilford in the backdraw semifinals.

In the fifth place match, Teutopolis edged Chatham-Glenwood 3-2.

Mtamora won the tourney followed by Barrinton, Champaign Centennial, Peoria Notre Dame, Teutopolis, Chatham-Glenwood, Rockford Guilford and Dunlap.
