Heat Suffers First Loss, Picks Up Second Win at NSA World Series

The Effingham Heat suffered its first loss at the NSA 14U World Series Tuesday and dropped into consolation bracket play at EastSide Centre in Peoria.
The Heat, a 14 and under girls softball squad, lost to Liberty Legacy, Ind. 7-4, the exact same score the Heat had won its opening game.
The Heat then handed the Waukesha Blazers a 10-7 loss. The local squad will now face the LaPorte Lazers at 4:45 p.m. today.
