Girls Junior League Roundup -- July 17

The Premier Athletic Club claimed a doubleheader victory in Girls Junior Softball League play at Evergreen Hollow Park Wednesday evening.

In the opener, the PAC stepped out to a 4-0 first inning lead and went on for a 16-7 win over Bahrn's Kubota. Sara Kirchhofer was the winning pitcher on a four-hitter.

In the second game, the PAC claimed a 20-0 win in three innings behind five hits. Madison Cowman pitched a no-hitter with no walks and eight strikeouts.

On the West Diamond, Fonner Oral Surgery and Formaggios split a doubleheader. Fonner Oral Surgery won the opener 15-6 with four runs in the first and second and seven in the third.

In the second game, Formaggios came back with a 16-15 win. Alex Tonn was the winning pitcher.
