Monday Junior High Scores from the Area

Teutopolis blanked St. Anthony in junior high softball, 9-0, on Monday.

Teutopolis scored three runs each in the first, second and sixth innings. The Wooden Shoes scored their runs on just two hits. 

Annastyn C. got the win for Teutopolis; Patel took the loss for St. Anthony.

Jasper County defeated Casey-Westfield 11-1. Jasper County was up 8-0 after two innings.

Wolf and Groves each had two hits for Jasper County and Wagner and Groves drove in five runs. 

Mulvey got the win with 4-1/3 shutout innings.

Altamont posted a 15-4 five-inning win over Mulberry Grove.

A seven-run third inning was big for Altamont. 

Each team picked up three hits. Ort and Suckow each drove in two runs for Altamont.

Suckow went the distance for Altamont, allowing just one walk and fanning eight batters.
