Neoga defeated Altamont 19-6 Friday, with Neoga scoring 11 runs in the seventh inning.
Neoga rang up 16 hits, with multi-hit games for Frankie, Denson, M. Frankie, McKay and McTeer. Burrus had two hits for Altamont.

South Central downed Vandalia Friday 10-2.
Ruholl went the distance for South Central, fanning 11 batters. Ruholl and Williams each had multi-hit games.

Effingham defeated St. Anthony Friday 14-2 in a four-inning contest.
Effingham scored nine runs in the fourth inning, following a run in the second and four runs in the third. St. Anthony scored runs in the first and fourth innings.
For Effingham, Hites had two hits and Bailey, Koester, and Hoffman each had a hit. Koester, Hoffman and Wilson each drove in two runs. Semple, Wilhour and Lustig each had a hit for St. Anthony.
Smith pitched four innings for Effingham to claim the win. She struck out 10 and didn't walk a batter. Patel took the loss for St. Anthony, giving up nine runs in 3-1/3 innings. Janis and Huebner each got an out; Janis gave up the other five runs, all unearned.
