Altamont's Lemke Fires 1-Hitter; Lady Indians in Regional Final

Grace Lemke fired a one-hit shutout Thursday and the Altamont Lady Indians posted a 5-0 win over Hutsonville-Palestine. The win moves Altamont into the regional championship on Saturday at 12 Noon against Windsor/Stew-Stras. 

Lemke fanned 15 batters against two walks in posting the win.

At the plate for Altamont: Tonn singled twice and drove in a run; Hankins doubled and walked, scored twice and drove in a run; S. Pearcy singled and walked; Boehm walked twice; Peyton Osteen singled, drove in a run and scored twice; Nelson scored a run; C. Pearcy singled, walked twice and drove in a run; and Fleeharty singled.
