The Bulldogs banged out 11 hits in the contest that included four home runs. Maddie Kibler finished with two home runs and five RBI while Abbie Hatton had a single, home run and one RBI. Stacie Vonderheide hit a solo shot. Ady Rios contributed a single, double, triple and an RBI while Addie Wernsing added a double and two RBI. Hailey Niebrugge contributed a single and an RBI.
Sydney Kibler went the six innings on the mound, allowing one run on three hits, two walks and striking out three.
St. Anthony edged out to a 1-0 first inning lead, tacked on a second run in the fourth then broke the game wide open with eight in the fifth and one more in the sixth.

At Beecher City
North Clay (Louisville) came calling and edged Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City in a big-scoring and hitting contest, 13-12 Monday.
CHBC held a 9-2 lead through four innings then pushed that to 11-3 in the fifth.
But the Cardinals got unwound, scoring two in the sixth then surged to an 8-1 run in the final inning to pull out the win.
Mallory Boose had two singles and three RBI for North Clay while Faith Jones added three singles and an RBI. Ava Fleener, Leigha Ruesken, Hannah Kramer-McKInney and Ava Zimmerman had two singles and an RBI each. The Cardinals are 1-2 in the National Trail Conference, 2-3 overall.
CHBC was led by Addison Wasson with a single, double and three RBI, Macee Rodman with three singles and an RBI, Marissa Summers with two singles and two RBI, Ryleigh Sarver with a double and an RBI and Ruby Stuckemeyer with a single and two RBI.

South Central edged out to a 4-0 lead on Vandalia then had an 11-run second and finished this contest in the fourth inning, 17-2 Monday.
The Cougars had 12 hits and were aided by five Vandalia errors.
Kaitlyn Swift and Kinley Swift provided two doubles each. Kinley added two RBI. Abi Shuler had two singles and three RBI while Amelia Montes had a double and three RBI. Kyra Swift added two singles and an RBI.
Taegan Webster went two innings for the win on the mound, allowing no hits, one walk and striking out four. Kinlee Thompson finished out the next two innings, allowing two runs on three hits, one walk and striking out six.

Newton blanked Oblong/Palestine/Hutsonville by a 15-0 count in four innings Monday.
The Eagles held a 4-0 first inning lead then produced 11 runs in the third inning.
Avery Mulvey threw a one-hitter with eight strikeouts and three walks.
Newton had 12 hits in the contest led by Allie Stanley with a single, double, triple and four RBI. Lilly Kessler and Bailee Frichtl had a single, double and two RBI each. Mulvey had a double and an RBI and Sally Mahaffey two singles and an RBI.

This game went 10 innings before Sullivan edged Altamont by a 1-0 tally Monday.
It was a pitcher's dual between Altamont's Grace Lemke and Sullivan's Tabitha Webb.
Lemke ended up on the losing end but only gave up two hits, two walks and struck out a whopping 24 batters in 9.1 innings
Webb went 10 innings, allowing two hits, one walk while striking out 14.
Sullivan had singles by J'Nai Webb and Harmony Ray.
Altamont had two hits by Avery Fleeharty with a double and Madison Tonn with a single.

Okaw Valley took a 3-0 first inning lead but St. Elmo/Brownstown came right back in the second to tie the score and moved into a 4-3 lead in the third inning.
However, Okaw Valley took over with eight in the fourth and ended the game with four in the fifth for a 15-4 victory.
Okaw Valley had 11 hits led by Maleyna Vanausdoll with two singles, a double and two RBI, Lana Ashley with a single, triple and an RBI and Gabby Totten with a triple and three RBI.
St. Elmo/Brownstown finished with six hits. Macey Sapp and Dezarae Morlan had a double each while Dayana Haslett and Kelly Moss had a single and an RBI each.
Lana Ashley was the winning pitcher, going all five innings, allowing four runs on six hits, two walks while striking out eight.

This was a high-scoring contest as Richland County edged Teutopolis, 14-13 in Monday action.
The Tigers edged out to a 3-2 lead then had a three-run second, a six-run third and led 13-6 after four innings. Richland County pushed that to 14-6 in the top of the sixth.
T-town mounted a furious rally with five in the bottom of the sixth and two in the bottom of the seventh only to fall a run short.
Malea Helmink had a single, home run and two RBI for the Wooden Shoes while Olivia Wermert added a single, double and an RBI. Jersey Gaddis two singles and two RBI. Chloe Hoene and Olivia Hemmen had two singles and two RBI each while Olivia Copple and Cecilia Apke had two singles and an RBI each.
Unfortunately, the Wooden Shoes finished with 10 errors.
