PREP LEAGUE
REMAX and Crossroads Bank captured victories in Girls Prep League softball action Thursday evening at Evergreen Hollow Park.
REMAX jumped out to a 14-3 first inning lead and never looked back in a 20-4 victory over Effingham Truck Sales. Callie Feldhake picked up the two-hit pitching win.
In the second game, Crossroads Bank edged Spectrum Screen Graphics 12-11. The score was tied at 8-8 after the first inning. Spectrum led 11-8 until the bottom of the third when Crossroads tallied four runs to pull out the victory.

MINOR LEAGUE
Evergreen Mini Golf and Murphy USA picked up victories in Girls Minor League competition at Evergreen Hollow Park Thursday.
Evergreen scored all of its runs in the first two innings. Heart and Home Realty made a comeback bid with eight in the third but fell 10-8.
McKenzie Wittenberg pitched a no-hitter.
In the second contest, Murphy USA stepped out to a 10-0 first inning lead and went on for a 14-9 win over Chesnut Family Music. Carol McDevitt was the winning pitcher on a two-hitter.
In the final game, First National Bank of Dieterich had an eight-run second to beat Get Fit 9-5. Ava Boehm pitched a no-hitter.
