Culver's Takes Pair in Slowpitch Friday

Culver's swept a doubleheader in slowpitch softball action Friday over Bud Lite at Hendelmeyer Park.

Culver's won the opener 15-14 with Janis getting the win and Biggs taking the loss.  The teams combined for 51 hits, 28 for Bud Lite.

Culver's took the nightcap 29-17 and posted an 11-run seventh inning after Bud Lite had closed to within one with an eight-run sixth inning.

Janis got the win; Biggs took the loss.  Sarver homered in the third with one on; Budde hit a solo shot in the seventh.
