The Mustangs trounced Flora 19-3 in four innings. Effingham whipped out to an 8-1 opening inning lead and finished with 11 hits in the contest.
Aubrey Poe had three singles and four RBI while Olivia Koester had a single, triple and three RBI, Elizabeth Kreke a single, double and an RBI and Madi Summers, Molly Maxedon and Charlee Emmerich a single and two RBI each.
Poe was the winning pitcher, going four innings, allowing three runs on seven hits, no walks and striking out five.
Effingham then defeated Teutopolis, 11-7. Both teams had 10 hits and Effingham finished with five errors.
But the Mustangs took a 4-0 opening inning lead then tacked on two in the third, one in the fourth and four in the sixth.
Addi Barnes had two singles and three RBI while Madi Summers had two singles and an RBI. Keagyn Koenig has the lone exrtra base hit, a double and an RBI.
T-town was led by Abby Kocher with two singles, a double and two RBI and Addelyn Calkins a single and double.
Kreke was the winner on the mound, going six innings, allowing four runs on six hits, two walks and striking out six.

At Neoga
Neoga stepped out to an early lead and went on to beat Meridian, 6-4 Saturday.
Maleah Coy was the winner, going five innings, allowing five hits, two walks and striking out six.
Hananh Propst led the team offensively with two hits and three RBI.
Casey-Westfield then edged Neoga 6-5.
Propst again led Neoga with two hits. Lillian Denson had one hit and three RBI.
Neoga is now 8-4 on the season.

At Strasburg
Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg easily handled Sullivan by a 12-2 count in five innings Saturday.
The Trojans had 10 hits in the game led by Arora Rincker with a single and double, Jackie Vonderheide with a double and an RBI, Edie Wittenberg with two singles and Sienna Bostedo with a single and two RBI.
Kalia Frese was the winning pitcher. She allowed two runs on two hits, two walks and struck out nine.

Sigel St. Michael handed Altamont a 5-3 loss in Friday competition.
The Sharpshooters got the early lead with a three-run first, then had single runs in the third and fourth.
Both teams had two hits. St. Michael was led by Will and Holley with a single each. Holley added an RBI.
Payton Orton had a single and an RBI and Sophia Long a single.
Worman threw all seven innings for St. Michael, allowing three runs on two hits, nine walks and striking out 15.
Long was the losing pitcher despite striking out 10 and allowing only two hits and four walks.

Dieterich took the early lead and held it through the first three innings but South Central got going with a three-run fourth then tallied single runs in the fifth and sixth for a 7-4 victory Friday.
Maddie Peddicord threw a four-hitter with one walk while striking out 14.
Meanwhile, South Central had six hits led by Peddicord with a single, double and an RBI while Kennah Hiestand and Emmie Ruholl had a double each. Ophie Lowry had a single and drove in two runs.
At Kinmundy

St. Elmo/Brownstown went ahead by a 4-0 count in the opening inning but Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City knotted the score in the top of the second and took a 6-5 lead in the third.
SEB then had four-run innings in the fourth and fifth for the 13-7 victory.
Townsend, Speagle and Shick had two singles each for the winner. Shick and Wollin had three RBI each.
Speagle threw a six-hitter for the win.
CHBC was led by Lyric Bennett with two singles and an RBI and Harper Lilly with a single and an RBI.
