Some Regional Games Played, Some Not on Tuesday

Here are the Tuesday results:

At the South Central 1A Regional, the Tuesday game between South Central and Webber was postponed to today at 3:30, to be followed at 5pm by the regularly-scheduled game between Grayville and Wayne City. Today's winners will play Friday at 4pm for the championship

At the Altamont 1A Regional, Tuesday's game between Edwards County and St. Elmo/Brownstown was postponed to today at 4:30pm. Today's Altamont and Clay City/North Clay has been postponed to Thursday at 4:30pm. The Wednesday and Thursday winners will play Saturday at 10am for the championship

At the Hutsonville 1A Regional, the Tuesday doubleheader was postponed to today; Windsor/Stew-Stras and Hutsonville at 4:30pm and Cumberland and Oblong at 6pm. The winners will play Friday at 4pm for the championship

At the Casey-Westfield 1A Regional, both games were played Tuesday. Casey-Westfield blasted Central A&M 15-0 in three innings, while Dieterich clobbered Okaw Valley 16-1 in three innings. That means Casey-Westfield will take on Dieterich at 4:30pm Friday for the championship

At the Flora 2A Regional, Newton defeated Lawrenceville 12-1 Tuesday, while Flora edged Robinson 2-1. That means Newton will play Flora at 4:30pm Friday for the championship

At the Teutopolis 2A Regional, the St. Anthony and Pana game was moved to today and will be played at 4:30pm at Bulldog Field at St. Anthony High School. Today's regularly scheduled game between Westville and Teutopolis will be played today at 4:30pm at Teutopolis Village Park. Today's winners will play Friday at 4:30pm for the championship
