Effingham St. Anthony fell to Paris Crestwood in the Class 1A Paris Crestwood Junior High Softball Sectional Saturday, 12-3.

 

Paris Crestwood took a 3-1 opening inning lead. The Bullpups pulled within 3-2 in the second inning. But Paris Crestwood tallied five in the fourth and finished out with four in the sixth.

Crestwood had a 9-8 hitting edge. St. Anthony was led by Lillianne Gannaway with two singles and an RBI and Julia Schultz with two singles.

Class 2A Casey-Westfield Sectional

Jasper County saw its season come to a close with a loss in the sectional Saturday.

Robinson Nuttall claimed an 11-0 win over Jasper County, 11-0 in five innings.
