TEUTOPOLIS -- Twelve hits garnered Teutopolis 14 runs in a 14-6 victory over Salem Franklin Park in girls junior high softball action Thursday.

Olivia Kemme led the Wooden Shoes with a single, double, triple and four RBI while Allie Ruholl had three singles, Mallory Bloemer a single, triple and three RBI, Kera Hartke two singles and two RBI, Olivia Wermert a double and Ciara Mette a single and two RBI.

Alyssa Tipton allowed six runs on six hits, five walks and eight strikeouts for the win on the mound.

Maddie Peddicord pitched a three-inning no-hitter as South Central blanked Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, 15-0 Thursday.

Peddicord allowed only one walk and struck out nine.

Zoey Feldhake led the hitting attack with two singles, a double and three RBI while Percilla Reid had a single, double and two RBI, Emily Rose three singles and three RBI and Kinley Swift two singles and two RBI.

South Central finishes the National Trail Conference season as the champs with a 6-0 record and are 13-3 overall and back in action today at Vandalia.
