Junior High Softball Results -- Aug. 25

Flora took a 1-0 first inning lead before the Bullpups moved ahead with three runs in the third. Flora pulled within 3-2 in the fourth but St. Anthony scored two more in the fifth.

Both teams had four hits while Flora finished with four errors.

St. Anthony was led by Liv Hoene with two singles and three RBI, Lillianne Gannaway with a single and an RBI and Ellie Link with a single.

Mia Kinkelaar went the distance allowing three runs on four hits, two walks while striking out four.

Altamont ended this game in the fifth for an 18-3 win over Ramsey Wednesday.

Ramsey held a 2-1 first inning lead but Altamont tallied seven in the second and fifth innings and three in the third.

Altamont had four hits led by Ada Roberts with two singles and four RBI, Ella Nelson with a double and two RBI, Kaylee Lurkins with a single and two RBI and Cecilia Pearcy with two RBI.

Nelson threw a six-hitter for the win allowing five walks and striking out six.
