Hilary Shelton Picks Up Pitching Victory

Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick High School graduate Hillary Shelton picked up a pitching win for Millikin University Friday.

Shelton pitched seven innings, allowing eight hits, two runs, four walks and striking out one to improve her record to 2-0.

She also had one hit in the contest as Millikin edged Lake Forest 8-7.

In another game Friday, Millikin defeated St. Norbert 11-3. Shelton had a single in the contest.

In weekend action, Millikin fell to Montclair State 4-0. Then the Big Blue won over Bridgewater 6-2. Shelton pitched one inning allowing one hit and one run.
