Windsor High School claimed a 7-2 victory over St. Elmo/Brownstown in girls softball action Thursday.
Windsor took a 2-0 first inning lead and led 3-0 after five innings. The Blue Devils tallied two runs in the top of the sixth while St. Elmo/Brownstown scored two in the bottom of the frame. Windsor then went out with two more in the seventh.
Lindsay Floyd picked up the pitching win, going all seven innings, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out 13. Floyd also went four-for-five with two singles and two doubles. Dani Bell had a single and a triple.
M. Maxey had two singles and an RBI. The Eagles drop to 0-4 in the National Trail Conference, 2-9 overall.
