OLNEY -- Hailey Flexter had her hitting shoes on Tuesday evening as she went seven-for-seven and guided Olney Central College to a doubleheader sweep of Shawnee College.

Flexter went four-for-four at the plate with two RBI.

In the second game, Flexter knocked in three runs, going three-for-three as OCC was a 10-1 winner. Shana Marti picked up the pitching win on a four-hitter with a walk and seven strikeouts.

In Monday play, OCC fell to the 10th-ranked team in NJCAA Division II, Parkland College in Champaign, 3-2 and 3-0.

In the second contest, Parkland claimed a 3-0 win. Again, Flexter had a hit in the contest. But the Knights left 17 runners stranded in the two games. Olivia Harrelson picked up the tough-luck loss, throwing a two-hitter with two walks and four strikeouts.
