NTC Softball Tournament Begins Wednesday

Drawing the No. 1 seed was Effingham St. Anthony followed by Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, South Central, Altamont, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, Dieterich, Neoga and St. Elmo/Brownstown.

In the opening game, St. Anthony faces St. Elmo/Brownstown at 3 p.m. on the East Diamond while Altamont meets Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City at 3 on the West Diamond. Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg takes on Neoga at 6:30 on the East Diamond while South Central goes up against Dieterich at 6:30 on the West Diamond.

The winners of games one and two meet at 4:45 p.m. on the East Diamond while the losers meet at 4:45 p.m on the West Diamond. The winners of games five and six meet at 8:15 p.m. on the East Diamond and the losers square off at 8:15 p.m. on the West Diamond.

The tournament finishes out Tuesday, May 25 with the third place game at 3 p.m. on the East Diamond and the consolation championship at 3 on the West Diamond. The championship game will be held at 4:45 p.m. on the East Diamond.
