Effingham Flame Split Victories

The Effingham Flame captured an 8-4 victory over the Charleston Chill during weekend softball action.

Charleston led 4-3 after three innings before Effingham had a five-run fourth. The Flame had seven hits led by R. Crippen with a single, double and two RBI and J. Boone with two singles. M. Allie had a double and two RBI.

The Flame fell to Charleston 16-6. R. Crippen had a single, triple and two RBI while J. Boone had a triple and an RBI and M. Allie two singles and an RBI.
