CHBC took a 1-0 lead in the top of the fourth but South Central took the lead in the bottom of the frame with two then pushed that to 5-1 in the fifth. CHBC made a comeback in the final inning with three runs but couldn't make up South Central's lead.
South Central had seven hits in the contest led by Shuler with a single and triple, Rose with a double and two RBI and Thompson with a single, double and two RBI.
CHBC was led by Macee Rodman with a home run and two RBI and Birgen Schlanser and Ellie Miller with two singles each. Miller had two RBI.
South Central improved to 4-1 in the National Trail Conference and 7-3 overall.
CHBC dropped to 2-2 in the conference and 2-3 overall.

At Windsor
Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg blanked Altamont, 3-0 in competition Thursday.
"Grace Lemke got the loss in the circle but pitched a great game," said Altamont Coach Lindsay VanBlaricum. "She had 13 strikeouts and two walks and I'm very proud of her.
"We didn't hit the ball. We had two hits by Laila Hankins and Presley Siebert. We watched a lot of strikes tonight which is something we need to work on in the future. We are back in action Friday hosting Neoga."
The two squads played some B innings. Altamont had hits from Kaylee Lurkins, Kennedi Schultz and Justcye Higgs.
