Mulberry Grove had a 13-run fourth inning and handed Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City a 16-5 loss in five innings of softball action Tuesday.
Mulberry Grove moved ahead 2-1 in the first inning and led 3-2 in the third before breaking the game open.
CHBC had four hits led by Macee Rodman and Addison Wasson with a double each. Ellie Miller had a single and drove in two runs.

Altamont claimed a 20-5 victory over St. Elmo/Brownstown in Tuesday action. Grace Lemke got the win in the circle with six strikeouts.
Lemke also led the way offensively with two doubles and two RBI while Kaylee Lurkins had a double and an RBI as did Laila Hankins. Skylie Klein had two singles.
