Effingham St. Anthony pounded Paris Crestwood, 20-7 in softball action Saturday.
St. Anthony trailed Paris Crestwood 4-3 after two innings then had a five-run third, a three-run fourth, a five-run fifth and finished out with four in the seventh.
L. Fearday had three singles, a double and three RBI for the Bullpups. S. Kibler had three singles, a double and six RBI while H. Niebrugge had two singles, a double and three RBI. A. Rios had a single, double and an RBI.
In the second contest, the Bullpups edged Crestwood, 6-5.
St. Anthony had a 2-0 second inning lead. Crestwood tied with a single runs in the fourth and fifth. Both teams scored two runs in the sixth. Effingham moved ahead with two in the top of the seventh and held off Crestwood in the bottom of the frame.
M. Kibler had two singles and an RBI while S. Kibler had two singles and two RBI. H. Niebrugge added a double and an RBI.

At Sullivan
Teutopolis claimed a 4-1 victory over host Sullivan in action Saturday.
The Shoes took a 1-0 first inning lead and led 3-1 after four. They tacked on a final run in the top of the seventh.
Courtney Gibson picked up the pitching win, going all seven innings, allowing six hits, one walk and striking out five. GIbson had two singles and an RBI while Dani Sarchet had three singles and an RBI.
In the second game, T-town edged Taylorville, 14-13. The two teams were tied at 7-7 after four innings. T-town tallied three in the fifth. Taylorville tied in the top of the seventh. But the Shoes had a four-run bottom of the seventh.
T-town had 13 hits led by Sarchet and Erin Althoff with three each while Estella Mette had two hits. Olivia Hemmen was the winning pitcher going 4.2 innings, allowing four hits, three runs and one walk.
