Koerner Miller Lite Claims Women's SB League Tourney

Koerner's Miller Lite claimed the championship of the Women's Fastpitch Softball League Tournament.

Miller Lite handed Ping's a 5-2 loss to claim the crown. Miller Lite took a 2-0 lead in the third inning and led 4-0 in the top of the fourth. Ping's came back with two in the bottom of the fourth but Miller Lite tacked on a single run in the sixth for the 5-2 victory.

Miller Lite had eight hits led by Flexter with a single, triple and an RBI, Gordon with a double and an RBI and Harvey with a double.

Ping's was led by Repking with a single and double and Hemmen with a triple. Ping's defeated Teutopolis High school 6-1 to enter the title contest.

Waymo's Photography was third with Teutopolis High School fourth.

Ping's downed T-town High School 6-1 while Waymo's Photography beat THS 5-3. Ping's won over Wayno's Photography 10-9.
