THS Downs Koerner's Miller Lite in DH

Teutopolis High School handed Koerner's Miller Lite a women's fastpitch softball doubleheader loss Monday.

THS won the opener 3-2. Miller Lite held a 2-0 lead until the fifth when THS tied the score then tallied the winning run in the sixth.

Kabbes led THS with a single and triple. Miller Lite was led by Ledbetter with a double, triple and an RBI, Huwe with two singles and an RBI and Stephens with a single and double.

In the second contest, THS was a 5-2 winner. THS tallied two in the third, one in the fourth and two in the fifth.

Kabbes and Gebben had two singles each for the winners while Schumacher and Newlin added a double each.

Miller Lite was led by Ledbetter and Hilt with two singles each. Ledbetter had an RBI.
