Walk's Auto Body stepped out to an 8-5 opening inning lead and went on to down Effingham Express Care, 22-15 in Girls Junior Softball League competition Thursday at Hendelmeyer Park.

Walk's had only four hits led by Thompson with a triple and two RBI.

Conder led Express Care with a single, double and three RBI.

In the second game, Effingham Express Care again took off to a first inning lead, 6-5 over Sigel. Express Care went on for a 12-7 victory.

Conder had a single, triple and five RBI for the winners while Thompson and Waymoth had a double each.

Niebrugge had two triples and two RBI for Sigel.
