Girls Minor, Prep Softball Leagues -- July 2

Chesnut Family Music tallied a 10-1 victory over Roepke Overhead Door in the opening game of Girls Minor Softball League action Monday at Evergreen Hollow Park.

Chesnut took a 4-0 first inning lead and had 13 hits in the contest. Sears had a single, double and two RBI for the winners while Wines and Kirgan had a double each. Wines added an RBI. Jones, Denning, Braun and Hoene had two singles each. Denning and Hoene had two RBI each while Braun had one.

Spicer had double and an RBI for Roepke.

In the second game, Bahrns Equipment came from a 2-0 deficit with a six-run third and won 7-2 over Spectrum Screen Graphics.

Bahrns had nine hits led by Raddatz with a single, double and an RBI, Kirgan with a double and three RBI and Koester with a double.

Gibson had a single and two RBI for Spectrum.

In the third contest, REMAX scored six runs in the first and six in the second for a 12-3 win over Dieterich Bank.

REMAX banged out 16 hits in the contest led by Kreke with a single, double and three RBI. Shoemaker, Wagner, Boggs, Bergbower, Stokey and Liva had two singles each.

Kinkelaar had three singles while Priar had two singles and a double and Hoene two singles and four RBI for the winners. Poe added a single, double and two RBI and Bell, 2 singles.

Girls Prep League

J&R Collision Center tallied a 14-12 win over Joe's Pizza & Pasta in Prep League competition Monday.

J&R took a 6-4 opening inning lead and led 12-9 after two.

Liv Hoene had a double and two RBI to lead the winners.

Ava Walton had two singles, a double and two RBI while Camille Wines added a double for Joe's.

In the second game, Fonner Oral Surgery had the early lead then had to fight off Crossroads Bank for a 14-13 victory.

Fonner had five hits in the contest led by Averie Wolf with a double and three RBI, Sierra Traxler with two singles and two RBI and Alyssa Martin with two singles and an RBI.

Crossroads was led by Bri Carder with a single and three RBI.
