Koerner's Downs Waymo's in Softball DH

Koerner's Miller Lite blanked Waymo's Photography in a women's fastpitch softball doubleheader Monday.

Koerner's won the opener 10-0 in six innings. Miller Lite had 11 hits in the contest led by Gordon with two singles and a double, May with two singles and an RBI, Huwe with a single and double, Burrus with two singles and two RBI and Ledbetter with a double and three RBI.

May pitched a five-hitter with 14 strikeouts.

In the second game, Miller Lite stepped out to a 10-0 first inning lead and blanked Waymo's 11-0 in four innings.

Ledbetter threw a two-hitter. Miller Lite had 11 hits led by Gordon with two singles, a home run and two RBI, Willert with a single, double and three RBI, May with two singles and Burrus with a double.

Koerner's Miller Lite improves to 9-1.
