Girls Prep Softball League -- June 7

Crossroads Bank handed Joe's Pizza & Pasta an 18-8 loss in Girls Prep Softball League action Thursday at Evergreen Hollow Park.

Crossroads stepped out to a 6-0 first inning lead and never looked back. Crossroads had 10 hits led by Bri Carder with two singles, a double and four RBI. Aubree Antrim and Riley Strohl had two singles and an RBI each.

Ava Walton led Joe's with a single and double. Bailey Crain had three singles and an RBI.

In the second contest, J&R Collision Center outlasted Fonner Oral Surgeyr, 21-14.

J&R had only five hits compared to 13 for Fonner. Mary Scheidemantel had two singles for the winners.

Leading Fonner were Tori Fuesting and Kallie Kalber with three singles each. Kalber added two RBI.
