Girls Minor Softball League -- May 31

Chesnut Family Music tallied a 12-1 win over REMAX in Girls Minor Softball League play Thursday at Evergreen Hollow Park.

Chesnut stepped out to a 3-0 first inning lead and led 9-1 after two.

Livia Jansen had a single, double and an RBI for the winners. Aubrey Denning and Maria Brown had two singles and three RBI each.

REMAX had five hits, all singles by five different players.

In the second contest, Bahrns Equipment defeated Dieterich Bank, 4-1.

Dieterich Bank held a 1-0 lead after the first inning but Bahrns tallied four in the second and that was the game.

The winners were led in hitting by Baylee Wildbur and Riley Rodewald with a double each. Rodewald had an RBI.

Dieterich was led by Ashland Bell with two singles and an RBI.
