Girls Prep League -- May 31

Fonner Oral Surgery outlasted Joe's Pizza & Pasta, 18-14 in Girls Prep Softball League action Thursday at Evergreen Hollow Park.

Fonner took a 6-0 first inning lead and led 12-6 after two and 18-9 after three. Joe's came back with five runs in the fourth only to fall short.

Both teams had only two hits. Fonner was led by Kabbes with a single, double and five RBI.

Joe's was led by Walton with a double and Davis with a single and an RBI.

In the second contest, J&R Collision Center won over Crossroads Bank, 14-10.

The two teams were tied at 4-4 after the first and 10-10 after the second. J&R scored four more runs in the third.

McCubben had two singles and an RBI for the winners.

Antrim led Crossroads with a single and two RBI.
