Effingham Express Care and T-town Wildcats picked up victories in Girls Junior Softball League action at Evergreen Hollow Park Wednesday.
Effingham Express downed Walk's Auto Body, 10-6 in the opening contest. The two teams were tied at 2-2 in the first inning. Walk's moved ahead 6-2 in the top of the second but Effingham Express came back with a seven-run bottom of the frame and tacked on a final run in the third.
Effingham Express had five hits, all singles by Kiowee Conder, Mari Hendrix, Kaylee Thompson, Kyndal Schoonover and Lilly Waymoth.
Walk's had two hits, singles by Jennifer Johnson and Serenity Traxler.
In the second game, the T-town Royals downed the T-town Wildcats, 14-9. The Wildcats held a 3-0 lead after two innings and led 4-3 after three. The Royals tied in the top of the fourth and brought home 10 runs in the fifth.
Kennedy Wilkins had a single and double for the winners while Isabelle Hemmen had a single and triple. Lexie Will added a double.
The Wildcats were led by Estella Mette with a single and double.

Senior League
In the Senior Softball League Wednesday at Evergreen Hollow Park, Southern Ilinois Hand Center captured two victories.
Southern Illinois won the opener over Effingham Surgery Center, 12-7. Southern Illinois took a 3-0 first inning lead and never looked back.
Makenna Grubb had four singles and drove in a run for the winners while Liz Day and Allie Day had two singles each. A. Day had four RBI and L. Day one.
Brittney Walk had a single, double and two RBI for Effingham Surgery Center while Taylor O'Dell had a single and triple. Shelby Starwalt added two singles and two RBI.
In the second contest, Southern Illinois claimed an 11-2 win over Adhatters. Once again Southern Illinois struck early with four runs and never looked back.
The winners banged out nine hits in the game led by Kiera Hemrich with a double and an RBI and L. Day three singles and an RBI.
Adhatters was led by Andrea Bierman with a triple and two RBI and Kimberly Brummer with a double.
