Girls Minor Softball League -- May 17

Dieterich Bank claimed a 7-5 win over Roepke Overhead Doors in Girls Minor Softball League play Thursday at Evergreen Hollow Park.

Dieterich Bank edged out to a 6-5 first inning lead then tacked on a final run in the second.

Dieterich had 11 hits led by Reese Hoene with a single and double and Kylie Prior with two singles.

Roepke was led by Ava Bushur and Nora Cekander with two singles each and Gianna Frisbee with a double.

In the second game, Chesnut Familiy Music had a four-run second and finished with a 5-1 win over Spectrum Screen Graphics.

Chesnut had nine hits led by Bailey Bohnhoff, Tinsley Sears and Livia Jansen with a double each. Aubrey Denning and Mella Wendling had two singles each.

Spectrum was led by Macy Hayes with a double and Sylvie Schumacher and Sentyn Althoff with two singles each.
