Minor Girls Softball League -- May 10

Dieterich Bank and Chesnut Family Music claimed Minor Girls Softball League victories Thursday at Evergreen Hollow Park.

Spectrum Screen Graphics opened with a 1-0 first inning lead but Dieterich Bank tallied four in the third and four in the fourth for the 8-1 victory.

Elena Semple led the winner with three singles while Emma Kraus, Kylie Prior and Sophia Emmerich had two each. Aubrey Poe had a double.

Seatyn Althoff had a single and double while Sylvia Schumacher had a double for Dieterich.

In the second contest, Chesnut Family Music took a 6-0 first inning lead and defeated Roepke Overhead Doors, 11-4.

Chesnut banged out 14 hits in the game led by Tinsley Sears with a single and double.

Ropeke had six hits, all singles by six different players.
