NTC Tournament Softball Pairings Released

The National Trail Conference Softball Tournament will open play Monday at Evergreen Hollow Park in Effingham.

Garnering the top seed was Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg followed by Effingham St. Anthony, Neoga, Altamont, South Central, St. Elmo/Brownstown, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City and Dieterich.

The event begins on two diamonds Monday. Windsor/Stew-Stras will face Dieterich at 4:15 p.m. on the East Diamond followed at 6:15 by Altamont meeting South Central.

On the West Diamond Monday, St. Anthony squares off against CHBC at 4:15 followed by Neoga facing St. Elmo/Brownstown at 6:15.

The tournament continues Wednesday and finishes out Friday with the consolation championship at 4:15 p.m. on the West Diamond, the third place game at 4:15 on the East Diamond and the championship at 6:15 on the East Diamond.
