Effingham St. Anthony High School's Allie Day threw a two-hitter against Dieterich as the Bulldogs claimed a 14-2 win in five innings of softball Tuesday.
Day allowed two runs on two hits, two walks and struck out five. She aided her own cause with two singles.
Katie Kabbes had three singles and three RBI for the Bulldogs while Jessica Coffin, Karlee Roepke and Liz Day had two singles each. Coffin and Roepke brought home three runs each.
Dieterich had singles by Hunzinger and Niemerg. Niemerg added an RBI.

Effingham broke a 1-1 tie with an eight-run fourth inning and downed Altamont 10-1 Tuesday.
The Hearts had 12 hits in the contest while three pitchers combined to throw a four-hitter against the Indians.
Carson Fearday had a double, triple and an RBI while Skyler Schafer added a single, double and an RBI. Lauryn Douthit had two singles and an RBI and Emma Budde a single, double and an RBI. McKenzie Wittenberg drove in three runs with a triple and Emma Hardiek had a double.
Altamont was led by Ashley Goeckner with a single and triple and Shelbi Stone with a double. The Indians fall to 5-11 on the season.

Tuscola came calling and handed Neoga a 7-0 loss in non-conference play Tuesday.
Tuscola took a 2-0 lead in the seocnd inning then had a five-run fifth.
Both teams had six hits. Hits for the Indians were by Kelsey Partlow, Elizabeth Titus, Makenzie Saunders, Taylor Lee, Audrey Ramert and Cheyenne Vondrak with a single each.
