Girls Prep Softball League -- June 26

Crossroads Bank banged out 18 hits and scored a whopping 32 runs in a 32-3 win over Fonner Oral Surgery in Girls Prep Softball League action Monday at Evergreen Hollow Park.

Crossroads had an 18-run first inning. Emma Thompson had four singles and drove in seven runs while Peyton Garrard had four singles and five RBI. Macey Christy had the lone extra base hit of the game with a double and two RBI. Macie Hendrix and Lexi McCoy had three singles and two RBI each. Jennifer Jamison had two singles and three RBI.

Garrad threw a two-hitter. Charly Kreke and Kaydee Borton had a single each.

In the second game, Crossroads Bank tallied a 7-4 win over Joe's Pizza & Pasta but Joe's had already forfeited due to not enough players.

Hendrix had a triple and an RBI for Crossroads. Lilly Waymoth had two singles and an RBI for Joe's.
