Women's Softball League -- June 19

Koerner Miller Lite captured a women's fastpitch softball doubleheader over Waymo's Photography in action Monday at Hendelmeyer Park.

In the opener, Miller Lite blanked Waymo's 8-0. Miller Lite took a 1-0 lead in the second then tacked on four in the fourth and three in the sixth.

May picked up the two-hit pitching win by striking out 11.

Will had two singles while Duda had a double and three RBI and Meyer a single and double for the winners.

Kopplin and Moody had a single each for Waymo's.

In the second game, Miller Lite claimed a 7-5 win. Miller Lite took the early lead with a four-run first and never looked back.

Duda had three doubles and drove in two runs for the winners while Stone and Flexer had two singles each. Stone added two RBI.

Me. Moody had three singles for Waymo's while Newkirk and Bannick had two singles each. Newkirk drove in a run.
