Girls Prep League -- June 12

Crossroads Bank had a 16-run second inning to trounce Fonner Oral Surgery 19-7 in Girls Prep Softball League action at Evergreen Hollow Park Monday.

Crossroads had only four hits led by Peyton Garrard with two singles and three RBI.

Taelyn Gillman had a single, double and three RBI for the winners while Kaydee Borton and Charly Kreke had two singles and an RBI each.

Crossroads Bank then came back with a six-run first and an eight-run third for a 15-5 win over Joe's Pizza & Pasta.

Crossroads had 10 hits in the contest led by Macie Hendrix with a single, double and an RBI and Peyton Garrard with two singles. Lexi  McCoy threw a two-hitter.

The two hits for Joe's came from Reagan O'Dell and Makenna Roley with a single each.
