Girls Minor League -- June 12

Chesnut Family Music picked up a 7-3 win over REMAX in Girls Minor Softball League action at Evergreen Hollow Park Monday.

Chesnut stepped out to a 5-1 first inning lead. Olivia Kreke, Lindsay Renser, Averie Wolfe, Taylor Sidwell and Alyssa Martin had two singles each for the winners. Martin had three RBI while Wolfe had two and Renser and Sidwell one each. Renser threw a two-hitter.

Ashlyn Davis and Gabby McCubbin had a single each for REMAX. McCubbin had an RBI.

In the second game, Dieterich Bank beat Bahrns Equipment 9-6. Dieterich Bank edged out to a 6-5 first inning lead then added on a single run in the second and two in the third.

Dieterich Bank had eight hits led by Summer Darkow with a single, double and three RBI.

Tori Fuesting and Sierra Traxler had two singles each for Bahrns. Traxler added three RBI.
