Girls Minor, Prep Results -- May 25

Dieterich Bank and Spectrum Screen Graphics picked up victories Thursday in the Girls Minor Softball League at Evergreen Hollow Park.

In the opening contest, Dieterich Bank edged Chesnut Family Music, 5-4. Dieterich Bank took a 3-1 lead in the second inning and tallied two more in the third.

Sydney Cunningham had two singles and an RBI for the winners.

Payton Jones and Alyssa Martin had two singles and an RBI each for Chesnut.

In the second contest, Spectrum Screen Graphics blanked REMAX 14-0. Spectrum took a 4-0 first inning lead then tacked on four in the second and six in the third.

Cailey Davis had a single, double and two RBI for the winners while Macy Mifflin, Kylie Osteen and Ella Johnson had two singles each. Osteen had three RBI, Johnson two and Mifflin one

REMAX had three singles by Sierra Soltwedel, Jerzi Bierman and Rylan Boggs.

Girls Prep League

Crossroads Bank and Fonner Oral Surgery played to a 10-10 tie in the opening game of Girls Prep Softball League action at Evergreen Hollow Park Thursday.

The game was halted due to the time limit. Fonner held a 9-4 lead in the third but Crossroads tallied six in the top of the fourth to lead 10-9. Fonner then tied in the bottom of the fourth.

Macie Hendrix led Crossroads with two singles. Taylor Quandt had a single and double for Fonner while Peyton Quandt and Rylea Hodge had two singles each.

In the second contest, Crossroads took a 5-4 first inning lead and went on for a 17-6 win over Joe's Pizza & Pasta.

Crossroads had nine hits led by Macey Christy with a single, double and two RBI, Macie Hendrix with three singles and two RBI and Jennifer Jamison with two singles and an RBI.

Klowee Conder had a double and three RBI for Joe's while Reagan O'Dell had two singles and an RBI.
