Girls Softball League -- May 9

Chestnut Family Music claimed a 4-2 win over Dieterich Bank in Girls Softball League action at Evergreen Hollow Park Tuesday.

Chesnut took a 3-2 first inning lead then added on a run in the second.

Both teams had three hits. Chesnut was led by Summer Darkow, Addison Nuxoll and Camille Wines with a single each. Nuxoll had two RBI, Darkow and Wines one each.

Alyssa Martin led Dieterich with two singles and an RBI.

In the second contest, REMAX downed Spectrum Screen Graphics 12-4.

REMAX had 16 hits led by Jerzi Bierman with three singles and an RBI, Vera Pontious with three singles and three RBI, Ashlyn Davis with two singles and an RBI, Audrey Kimery with two singles and an RBI and Madison Tonn with two singles and two RBI.

Kylie Osteen and Kennedy Tieffel had two singles each. Tieffel had two RBI and Osteen one.
