Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City will play for the Class A St. Elmo/Brownstown Softball Regional championship today after blanking Mulberry Grove Saturday 9-0.
CHBC stepped out to a 5-0 first inning lead and never looked back. Madison Cherry pitched a no-hitter with 16 strikeouts.
Coach Carolyn Wendte's team had 10 hits in the contest led by Sydney Dunaway with a single, double and two RBI, Carsen Burks with two singles, Zaryah Cyr with two singles and an RBI and Cherry with two singles.
CHBC is now 10-8 on the season and faces Findlay Okaw Valley at 4:30 p.m. today. Okaw Valley was a 6-5 winner over Altamont in the second game Saturday.

At Paris
Casey-Westfield picked up an 8-2 win over Martinsville in the opening game of the Class A Paris Crestwood Regional Saturday.
In the second contest, Crestwood blanked Oblong 13-0.
Casey-Westfield faces Paris Crestwood today at 4:30 p.m. for the regional championship.
Class AA Teutopolis Regional
This regional's two Saturday games were postponed to today.
Effingham will face Red Hill (Bridgeport) at 4:30 p.m. followed by Jasper County taking on Shelbyville Moulton.
Today's championship game has been moved to Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
