Effingham St. Anthony Junior High School saw its season come to a close in the Class A Paris Crestwood Girls Softball Regional Wednesday.
The Bullpups fell to Martinsville 13-4. Martinsville stepped out to a 5-0 second inning lead. St. Anthony came back with four runs in the third but that's all the Bullpups scored the rest of the way.
St. Anthony had three hits, singles by Guy, Boatman and Stephens.
In the other two games, Oblong downed Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg 5-3 and Paris Crestwood won over Cumberland 10-4.
Casey-Westfield faces Martinsville at 10 a.m. Satudray while Oblong takes on Paris Crestwood at 11:45. The championship game is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Monday.

Class A St. Elmo/Brownstown Regional
Altamont ended host St. Elmo/Brownstown's season by blanking the homestanders 15-0 in four innings Wednesday.
Altamont took a 3-0 first inning lead then had a five-run second, a run in the third and a six-run fourth.
Altamont had eight hits led by Brummer with two doubles and three RBI, Boedecker with two singles and Goeckner with a double and three RBI.
The winners are now 5-11 on the season and will now face Findlay Okaw Valley at 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
In the other game, Mulberry Grove pounded Ramsey 22-7. Mulberry Grove now faces Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The championship game is scheduled for Monday at 4:30 p.m.

Class AA Teutopolis Regional
Teutopolis had its season come to a close with a loss in its own regional Wednesday.
Red Hill (Bridgeport), seeded fourth, downed the fifth-seeded Shoes 11-1.
In the second game, Shelbyville Moulton won over Lawrenceville Parkview 10-4.
Games continue Saturday as Effingham takes on Red Hill at 10 a.m. followed by Jasper County against Shelbyville Moulton at noon. The championship is scheduled for Monday.
At Iuka
In a regular season contest, South Central pounded Iuka 15-0 in five innings.
Laney Webster threw a no-hitter with one walk and nine strikeouts.
South Central had 15 hits led by Webster with a single, two inside-the-park home runs and four RBI, Jordan Geiler with three singles, Kayli Swift with two singles and an RBI, Meagan Smith with two singles and two RBI and Sierra Arnold with three singles adn two RBI.
South Central is now 12-2.
