Premier Fastpitch Advances at Nationals

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Premier Fastpitch Paulson advanced once again in the USA/ASA 18U Women's Fastpitch Softball Nationals Friday.
Premier Fastpitch defeated Tampa Mustangs Boynton, 3-1 and is now one of only eight teams that remain that is undefeated. Premier is now 43-1 on the season and 5-0 at the Nationals.
PF Paulson scored three runs on four hits. Bailey Martin had a double that scored two runs. Teutopolis' Allison Apke had a single.
T-town's Kadi Borries scored a run and Anni Borries drew a walk and scored. Baylee Sparks picked up the pitching win, going two innings, allowing two hits, no walks and one strikeout.
The squad will now face the TN Ballhawks at 3 p.m. today.
