J&R Collision Center edged Effingham Express Care in Girls Junior Softball League action at Evergreen Hollow Park Wednesday, 6-5.
Effingham Express Care took a 3-1 first inning lead and led 5-4 after three. J&R Collision then came back with two runs in the bottom of the fourth to pull out the victory.
Mackenzie Koester had the lone extra base hit for J&R with a triple. Emma Ruholl had a triple for Effingham Express Care.
In the second contest, Walk's Auto Body trounced J&R Collision Center 17-0. Walk's took a 4-0 first inning lead and never looked back.
Bella Kronewitter pitched a one-hitter for the winners and had a single and double.
