All-NTC Softball Team Named, NTC Coaches Honored

The National Trail All-Conference Softball Team was named. Coach of the Year was Windsor/Stewarsdon-Strasburg's Brittany Holsapple.

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg finished the conference with a perfect 7-0 record for first place while Effingham St. Anthony finished second with a 6-1 mark. The other teams' seasons, due to rain cancellations, were not completed.

Effingham St. Anthony's Hunter Niebrugge was named to the First Team and was the Most Valuable Player. Other First Team members were Katie Kabbes (St. Anthony), Abby King (South Central), Mackenzi Tabbert (Windsor/Stew-Stras), Morgan Brown (St. Elmo/Brownstown), Elizabeth Biggs (Altamont), Audrey Winters (Altamont), Brooks Burns (Altamont), Maddie Schuette (St. Anthony), Jenna Woltman (St. Anthony) and Keidron Duckwitz (Altamont).

Honorable Mention went to Baylee Neece (Neoga), Emily Bone (St. Elmo/Brownstown), Carson Cole (Windsor/Stew-Stras) and Taylor Rentfrow (Windsor/Stew-Stras).

Also named during the evening was the NTC Track Coach of the Year, Neoga High School's Tim Mueller, the NTC Volleyball Coach of the Year, St.Elmo/Brownstown's Elise Asher and Girls' Basketball Coach of the Year St. Anthony's Bart Wiedman
