T-town Ranked Second in Class 2A State Softball Poll

Teutopolis High School is ranked second in the latest Class 2A State Softball Poll. The Wooden Shoes are 19-1 on the season for Coach Rich Niebrugge.

Carterville took the No. 1 ranking. Flora is in the others receiving votes category.

In Class 1A, Hardin Calhoun sits at the top spot. Casey-Westfield is at No. 4 and Oblong at No. 5. Edwards County (Albion) sits at No. 20.

Effingham St. Anthony and Stewardson-Strasburg/Windsor were in the others receiving votes category.

In Class 3A, Washington holds the top spot while Mattoon sits at No. 13.

New Lenox Providence Catholic is at the top position in Class 4A.
